The LTI 1.3 integration allows students and teachers to sign up and log in to their ThingLink account directly from the LMS with one simple click, and simplifies embedding ThingLink content into the LMS.

The app uses LTI 1.3. Please note that the integration is available only on the K-12 Enhanced, Higher Education College/School and Higher Education Campus-Wide subscription plans.

1. As an admin of your School on ThingLink, go to the ‘Organization’ page, then select the Integrations tab.
2. Create a new LTI connection and select Canvas as your LMS.
3. Copy the JSON configuration.
4. Go to Canvas and navigate to Admin > Developer keys. Click ‘Developer Key’ and add a new LTI Key.
5. Choose ‘Paste JSON’ under ‘Method’, Paste the JSON configuration, and click Save.
6. In Canvas, toggle the LTI key on.
7. Go back to your ThingLink account and populate the platform-specific parameters for the connection you created.
