JuniorTube for PK-12 allows students to annotate on any frame of any video that teachers shares with them, create digital stories and turn them back in for assignments. No “related videos” are displayed to the students.
While sharing and watching educational videos is a forever-free feature, annotations on videos are currently possible as a premium feature on JuniorTube for the iPad - download the app on the App Store and contact firstname.lastname@example.org for a quick setup:
In non-mobile web browsers (laptops, desktop), JuniorTube tool for LMS’s can embed videos that are displayed to students (on both mobile and desktop devices) in the safest and most simplistic way, without any “related videos”.
This add-on will allow you to search and select videos from YouTube, insert them into assignments or discussions, and students will be able to tap on a special link to open the video directly on JuniorTube on their device, then start watching and annotating. Once they’re done with their work, students will be able to submit their creation back to the LMS directly from JuniorTube.
