Defined STEM is a K-12 resource containing performance tasks, literacy tasks, constructed responses, and real-world video. Utilizing the Understanding by Design GRASP model, Defined STEM offers students the opportunity to apply knowledge learned in a real-world scenario.

Defined STEM offers over 200 performance tasks based on real-world careers, each containing 4-8 individual products to be created by the student. Each performance tasks is aligned with corresponding argumentative and informative literacy tasks or constructed response tasks. Performance tasks are fully editable and aligned to state standards.
