This adds a button the the rich text editor in Canvas that allows characters not on the users keyboard to be easily inserted into the text. The default set of characters supported are:
- Text
- Mathematical
- Latin
- Currency
- Arrows
You can also define your own set of character specific to allow users to easily find the characters relevant to the content.
The easy insertion of foreign characters in the teaching of languages makes it easier for users to insert the correct word without having to restoring to copying and pasting.
Tools are built with accessibility in mind and we will endeavour to accommodate all user needs.
