This allows you to search for GIFs to insert into the Canvas Rich Content Editor. The app returns the selected content to Canvas, but it is sill served from Giphy.
This app uses the Giphy service and before using it you should be aware of the Giphy terms of service and their privacy policy:
To install this tool in Canvas use the EduAppCenter:
- Navigate to course or sub-account you wish to add the tool to.
- Click on the Settings page.
- Click on the Apps tab.
- Type Giphy in the search box.
- Click on the Giphy box in the search results.
- Click on +Add App
- When the dialogue is displayed click Add App
- The app should now be added to Canvas and available in the Rich Content Editor (RCE) under the Apps icon.
